Wrench Services LLC is owner operated. When you call, you talk to Matt. When the truck pulls up, it is Matt who gets out. The person who diagnoses the car is the person who fixes it, and the person who fixes it is the person who answers if something is not right afterward.
That matters more than it sounds. Shops separate the service writer from the technician from the person quoting the work, and every hand off is a place where the story changes and the price grows. A single master mechanic with over 25 years of experience does not need a story. He tests the car and tells you what he found.
Why hybrids
Hybrid systems scare most independent shops and make dealers a lot of money. Matt went the other way and learned them properly. High voltage pack testing, cell service, replacement, inverter and converter diagnostics, and the cooling systems that keep packs alive. A hybrid warning light in Rio Rancho or Albuquerque no longer has to mean a dealer quote.
